The Pithos is one of our more traditional Terracotta pots. Its aesthetically enhanced with the addition of the handles on the sides of this pot, which was first used for storing wines and oils. Terracotta pots and planters, make an ideal home for any plants as they offer a cool protective, breathable environment promoting root growth. Our Terracotta pots all come with a set of feet which we do strongly recommend are used as this will aid good drainage & improve frost protection.
If you would like to use our Terracotta pots for indoor use we can fully line the inside of the pots with GRP (Fibreglass) liner. Adding this liner will ensure the pot is fully watertight and you can then use indoors without the need to use a saucer or similar which for a large pot can be a real eyesore aswell as take up lots of additional space.
We can also supply these pots with an Irrigaton tank system that will reduce to amout of watering required & provide you with healthier better blooming plants and flowers. This helps to conserve water which is paramount in this day and age and these can be used for indoor or outdoor applications alike.
