Hydro-Clay Calculator for Square & Rectangular Planters
Enter the Length, Width & Height of your chosen planter in mm as displayed on the website into the calculator below and then press “Calculate” This will then let you know the number of bags of Hyrdo-Clay you will need for your chosen planter at the recommend level of 30% of the volume of your planter. Simply round up or down to the closest number and then add this qty to the basket. If you are ordering multiple planters the same size then you will need to multiply the number of bags required by the number of planters you are ordering.
If you are ordering multiple planters in different sizes then use the calculator for each size and make a note of the number of bags required, then simply add these up to give you your total number of bags required for your whole order.
PLEASE NOTE: This is 100% accurate for Square & Rectangular planters, however, if you have a Tapered planter you will need slightly less Hydro-Clay so best to round down.
