We recommend using planters made from durable materials when purchasing plant pots for your garden. The longevity of outdoor planters also depends on how well you care for them and where they are placed. Size-wise, we suggest choosing a pot that is able to fully accommodate the plant you’re growing, whilst also accounting for its soil and watering preferences.
When deciding what to put in the bottom of your planter, it make sense to know how much space and what sort of conditions are conducive to the growth of your outdoor plant. If only a small amount of space is required, fill the bottom with high-quality potting soil to help aid drainage and give your plant the nutrients it needs.
