Kensington

The Kensington Planter is one of the newest additions to our timber range but it has fast become a customer favourite! Made from high quality handpicked pressure treated Redwood Pine, this container is highly durable and expertly built. The Versailles design with a cross pattern provides a beautifully detailed finish, whilst a thick internal framework  and thick posts with mortised joints ensures maximum strength. This makes the Kensington design a great choice for a wide range of shrubs and small trees. This wooden planter is delivered in a natural finish but must be painted when you receive it as the crosses are made from a waterproof fibreboard that has a 25 year guarantee and does not expand or contract with climatic conditions. This Kensington is pictured in Farrow & Ball “French Grey” Exterior Eggshell providing an elegant and classic finish that is perfect for a modern home.  .

LINER – 300 micron Eco Dpm liner with a permeable matting that covers the base to allow drainage.

MATERIALS – 4 X 70mm posts , internal framework made of 33mm x 33mm pressure treated redwood pine , vertical slats & horizontal bars made of 20mm x 92mm pressure treated redwood pine & the crosses made from circa 12mm x 50mm slats of Tricoya. All endgrain treated with Ronseal endgrain treatment.

FINISHES – These planters are delivered in a natural finish & must be painted when received.
